Strategic Solutions provides expertise to help you bring your vision into sharper focus, create the evidence to back your decisions, and organize for successful delivery of your strategic goals.
You know what you want to achieve but sometimes you need specialised extra resource to ensure you reach your objectives. With my research skills and over 20 years in high level policy and strategy development, I have the experience and expertise to help you. Whether you need to step back to look at the bigger picture; in depth research and analysis of evidence; strategic evaluation of what you are doing and how you could improve; or a review of your structure and processes to develop and deliver your policies, I will work with you to ensure success.
When delivering large scale projects I work as part of the Ideas Mine team which gives me access to additional expertise and administrative support. My Speciality
My forté is in bringing together people and perspectives to conceive in depth analyses and produce workable solutions. I quickly develop excellent working relationships built on trust, as people respond positively to my personal integrity. I am an expert at analysing complex information, quickly getting to the heart of an issue to focus on and resolve problems.

Enterprise and Economic Participation
I have significant experience in policy, operations and research of increasing economic participation by making communities more enterprising. I recently worked for Bradford MDC and East of England Development Agency projects producing policy and programme reviews of enterprise in deprived communities; enterprise and employment for disabled people, all available here.
Developing business and organizations
Most third sector and public organizations need specialist help sometime to expand their business or improve their effectiveness. My expertise can help you apply for additional funding or develop your leadership potential. I have successfully built partnerships for transnational projects and drafted national and EU funding applications for clients. I am currently working with Ideas Mine to deliver an extensive leadership development programme for Durham and Darlington Fire Service.
Gender Equality/ Diversity Issues
For many years, I have been studying diversity issues in the organizations for which I worked, and for my PhD studied gender equality issues in depth. Diversity in enterprise policy and programme delivery is also a strong focus for my work. I am currently supporting the Women’s International Centre for Economic Development to develop a research unit and have completed my own research project on women entrepreneurs on behalf of the WEVH in Manchester.
